Preesman is a greenhouse horticulture company that grows a wide range of flowering seasonal products. Examples of products are: large-flowered cyclamen, hydrangea, impatiens new guinea, various summer bloomers and perennials. Preesman is valued for its high-quality products and their good care. The plants are traded daily at the various branches of the Flower Auction Royal FloraHolland and at Plantion in Ede. The products find their way to consumers in the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe through various channels such as: wholesalers, exporters, garden centers and florists.

Pretty Turtle
The Streptocarpus ‘Pretty Turtle’ was developed by Kees Preesman. This plant is unique and has the name ‘Pretty Turtle’ due to the sturdy leaves that resemble the turtle’s shell. The foliage is slightly serrated and has a fleshy texture, similar to a succulent. At the end of 2021, the Streptocarpus ‘Pretty Turtle’ was declared the winning plant in the ‘Green houseplants’ category of the Glass Tulip Award 2022. Preesman can be very proud of this!

Potcover Designstar
Preesman Potplanten was looking for a pot cover for the Streptocarpus ‘Pretty Turtle’. That’s when Designstar came into play. The designers of Designstar have developed a pot cover where the silhouette of the turtle is depicted. The pattern of the turtle shell is depicted in the background of the pot cover. Together, this results in a suitable and recognizable pot cover for this unique plant.
